Unity is a link in the great educational movement inaugurated by Jesus Christ;
our objective is to discern the Truth in Christianity and prove it. The Truth
that we teach is not new, neither do we claim special revelations or discovery
of new religious principles. Our purpose is to help and teach humankind to
use and prove the eternal Truth taught by the Master.
Unity Church of Bakersfield is committed to continuing this vision of spiritual light to the community. Our Biblical authority "If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free... Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father." (John 8:31-32; 14:12 RSV)
